After 400 hours my island is finally coming together.

I've spent 400 hours on this game yet 90% of those hours went to just collecting villagers tt and just doing randomness,, I had a color scheme for my island but never a solid lay out. I'm still sticking with giving each villager it's own plot while keeping my island natural but I have done a bit of terraforming. I love this game,, I play it just as much as I played new leaf,, less than a few months I got 400 hours while it take nearly a year to get 235 hours on splatoon,, aah acnh is my addiction,, it needs an update I agree but none the less I love this game. Is..nintendo putting fake..dr**s in this game?!

I actually try to do the same by keeping my island natural with minimal terraforming and trying to give each villager their own plot! Unfortunately it led to a lot of frustration due to lack of space and i ended up throwing my villagers all together in this residential neighborhood thing ahhhhhh 500 hours in a month and i still havent fixed my layout ;-;

Same. I'm clocking in at 600+ and I have nothing to show for it but an insane amount of flowers, DIYs everywhere, and no ideas.

I'm at exactly 450 hours, and a (very empty) four star island. I spent about 300 hours villager hunting. I'm not proud of how my island looks, but I'm proud I was able to make that much progress in the small amount of time of 150 hours!
