Advise picking villagers?

So I need some opinions from you guys?

I currently have 5 squirrel villagers in my town, but I don't know what to do, I'm tempted to have a town full of squirrels but I have Kid Kat in my town and I love him! and there are a few other cats I really like too...

do I
A) get a full squirrel town
B) get a full squirrel town with Kid Kat being the only none squirrel
C) have half squirrels and have cats?
