Advice?

Hello!
I recently figured out that I could restart my ACNL game in 2013 or something and so it says I registered on the actual date I got the game but I don't like the villagers I get and I don't like how my hair gets messed up.
Should I keep deleting my games until I get the villagers I want and then TT back to the this date or just leave my current save data?

We have a Villager Trading Plaza on our forums where when soemone has a villager you want you can adopt them (for a cost as well)

Just as nanako said. Villagers you want you can get at the villager trading plaza.
Tt'ing back and forth doesnt get the villagers you want..

I don't think you understood what I meant, I meant that I keep deleting my save file until I'm happy with my starter villagers THEN I TT from the date I started my town (25th December 2013) to 8th October 2016.

Anyways, yeah you can keep restarting your town until you're happy with what you've got. I wouldn't worry about the villagers since you can move them out and get different ones anyways. I would worry more about your town layout, since you can't change that.

I'm not sure that's something to worry about really...plenty of people start second towns or restart completely. Don't think anybody will really mind or notice when you started your town or if you're a new or old player
I wouldn't keep resetting just for strarter villagers, the chances of getting more than one you really want is slim. Town layout is probably the thing to really consider, don't want to throw away a perfectly good layout just because of the villagers

Ah... then i misread it!

I would go for a map layout you are happy with, and then go get the villagers you like...
villagers can change your map layout don't

Definitely choose a good map that you like. I wouldn't worry too much about the villagers as they move out and in, but there's no problem continuing to reset for better villagers if that's what you want to do. Just get a decent map. I don't see anything wrong with changing the date to your original registration date.

Don't choose a town based on starting villagers. Choose a town layout you like.
Town layouts are permanent, villagers are not.
