Advice on Campsite Placement!

So the Campsite will be the next PWP ill be building (just done my cobblestone bridge) i regretted it in my last town, but that was largely due to its placement

Here is my town map atm

Freya is moving in tomorrow, diagonally to Apple (on the bottom half of the map)

I was thinking of putting the campsite on the bottom half of the map and to the furthest on the right, and creating a little campsite area with trees etc, what do you all think?

I would save the space you're talking about for your lighthouse and put your campsite where there's a little downwards dip on the bottom half of your map.

The first place that caught my eye was that little corner in the bottom right by the sea, as you said. Cedar trees around it, and maybe a picnic blanket if it gets suggested would be great, but it's yours of course. That's just my dream campsite ^.^

I was thinking maybe if you plan on placing a third bridge just below your house, the campsite could be snuggled up in that corner between the two bridges. It's quickly accessible, and I just like campsites next to bridges for some reason. xD It's entirely up to you though.

I would put it in the top right corner so that it is out of the way and it would seem like there are some woods behind town hall. Personally, I think that the campsite is kind of a waste of space, but a lot of people seem to like it.

I would put it somewhere on the bottom half, too, but I agree with mayortash that the place you specified would be best for a lighthouse. I unfortunately put a wind turbine right where a lighthouse would go perfectly and then later got the lighthouse PWP suggested to me. At least the wind turbine is demolishable though, lol!

If you plan on resetting a lot to increase your odds at camper roulette, I would place the campsite near the train station. When the new temporary character you create as a scout gets off the train, it's only a few steps to see if there's a tent or not.

My first thought was exactly where you said but I regret my placement too. I check it daily and the grasswear around there now is horrendous. I'd maybe put it in the top right corner by the ramp, knowing now what I didn't know then!

actually, I think the little dip is better for the lighthouse - it's just above your dock so you'll get a fantastic view when you go to the island at night. That's how mine is (totally different beach but the relationship of the dip to Kapp'ns dock is the same) and it's my favorite thing about going to the island.

I think the little area to the right would be cute, but personally I'd reserve that for a 2nd player house.

are you sure about that? because 5 rooms are not enough for me!!

I'd put the campsite over there then. It's a cute area, but you can also ignore it when it's empty. Some firs and some cute PWPs and it'll be great!

I've placed it in the furthest right bit.. looks really good paid it off straight away so will be ready at 6am, and i will then show a pic

Pretty much this. I always like to put the light house near the beach so putting the campsite in the little dip seems perfect imo.

Looks great!! A friend put the totem pole next to hers and it's amazing.


And yeah Lexxy, I feel your pain, I picked a stupid place but I liked everything else too much to reset.

That's what I did!! And then I realized that I couldn't do anything attractive with it. Right now it's got firs and flowers around it so it's not too bad.

I put the bonfire next to my campsite- so cute! Then cut down trees to use the stumps as stools for the bonfire If I could get that picnic blanket suggested now...
