Advice for trees if you please!

So I'm going for a lost in dense forest look for my town and do have a lot of trees.
But I still have plenty of space for more trees. My fave to plant are cedar trees.
Lately I've had luck growing them. But since the day before yesterday they seem to keep dying.
It'd looked to me like they had plenty of space to breath, but they just keep dying. Why is this?

Ceder trees(pine) can only grow on northern half of town, trust me I hated not knowing why my trees kept dying. lol
When using a silver axe, use your golden axe to cut the tree twice so that you can perserve the life of your silver axe. It will still automatically give you a special stump

Maybe there are too many in that certain area. Try again somewhere else and see if they grow there. Also you can't plant cedars South of your town

Oh great adice!! I do love special stumps.

I you guys are definitely right. They AREN'T growing in the south areas. Thanks a lot!

Yeah I don't think they are supposed to be too close together.
