Advice: Finding Judy? UPDATE: JUDY FOUND

Hi all,

Judy is a dream villager of mine, and I usually don't trade just because I like encountering them on my own (e.g. finding Punchy with 35 tickets gave me serotonin for the whole week LOL)

I have 60 NMT left and am bidding them for a Judy trade though I wouldn't be surprised if I got outbid (also offered 3mil)

I don't want to rescind my offer and use the tickets because I've used a LOT with no luck...I've seen Marina like 8 times now (I wish I was lying)...

If I lose the trade, should I just try to get a 'jock' and try the campsite method? (even though I'm missing snooty + uchi) I guess I'm just losing motivation finding her when my friends all found her with 2-4 tickets :/

Any advice/encouragement appreciated! I've reset my clock back 12 hours again so keep the plot open, I'm planning on just resting and trying to find trades or island hop tomorrow ;;

Honestly I'd recommend doing the campsite method. Do some island hops and fill out Jock and Uchi if those are the ones you're missing, then grind it out for Judy. You will guarantee get her that way at least. It will be way more fulfilling than having to pay a ton of NMTs to buy her, and it will feel better when you see her in the campsite anyway.

Hopefully you just get lucky and find her in your hunt tomorrow though!

I've seen that! Seems less expensive than NMT tbh...I've never been interested in cycling so most of my NMT I'm just using and I dont have loads stacked up like others ;;

I might try that and settle for a jock!

Something else you could do is get Marina, and then trade her to someone for Judy! Otherwise I think the campsite method would be the way to go if you are set on finding her yourself

Anecdotally, while your friends might have found her quickly with NMT, I went on.... 300+ trips before I found her so it’s definitely a mixed bag. I’d really recommend the campsite trick if you’re set on getting her.

Wow that is some dedication!! I think I have been on 120 trips so far? I told myself I would stop and try trading but I kept telling myself "no THIS will be the ticket!" LOL I'm glad you found her though! She's one of the cutest snooty personalities IMO

I think I might do campsite method - the market price for her is insane, and I'm not an active trader so I have no use for tons of NMT (the reason why I had a lot is to look for Judy solely because she has no Amiibo ;

Thank you so much for the guide! I am fairly certain if I have a random move-in it would be from a void cause I play with my friends a lot LOL, I think I will exhaust my tickets, then in my last few grab a jock and use the campsite method

I think the nintendo desire sensors are real I was doing the campsite trick for raymond and got judy on my second try

just focus on another villager hard enough and maybe youll get her faster LOL (BUT FOR REAL it is a great method you are guaranteed to find her eventually and there are no repeats so youll get there ; u ; good luck!! and dont forget to take breaks!)

I went thru 200 trips and no Judy. I almost got scammed on discord for her and still no Judy. I sat down and did the campsite trick and finally after 72 villagers, she showed up! So I strongly recommend the campsite unless you enjoy rush of island hoping.

Dont take my word for it, because maybe I was really lucky, but when I did campsite method for Ankha I also was missing an uchi and got a majority of snooty in my campsite anyway. I wonder if thats because uchi is a starter or it's just coincidence. Even so campsite is your best shot!!

this is real I got Judy as my first campsite visitor when I started campsite method

I really enjoy the rush of island hopping and I don't mind waiting (and having some villagers I will take if I can't find her) for my campsite to maybe have her or to find her on the island. I still only have 7 villagers and 2 stars because of my willingness to wait. But, I'm having a good time!

If you want her sooner than later and don't mind TT, the campsite method is probably your best bet.

I would agree with everyone else here is recommend campsite resetting because you know eventually you'll see her AND you won't be wasting NMTs.

Don’t vocalize your desires for Judy. Nintendo is listening and will prevent you from obtaining your dream villager at all costs!!

Like others have said, campsite resetting might be time consuming, but honestly is the cheapest way to get her. Looking for a particular villager is incredibly difficult and obviously never guaranteed. If you have the time, I'd do the campsite trick, and if you ever want to trade with anyone for furniture or diys, you'll have your NMT to spend then!

As seen by the title, a great friend of mine found a trade of Diana for Judy - since she has amiibos she traded Diana and the trader gave Judy to me I'm so happy I could play normally again
