Advice anyone?

So here's the Deal, I have my perfect town and all my favorite villagers on my physical copy of the game and my house is almost paid off. I also have a digital copy of the game that I was going to use for a cycling town but never had the patience for it but I do have over 10,000,000 bells in my savings account in that town because I had ultra high turnip prices one day. Also I have the last fossils and artwork that I need to complete my museum for my main town.

So question #1 if I were to put my physical copy of the game in my friends 3ds would it still load my town and would we be able able to connect to my digital copy so I could transfer my bells and fossils and artwork to my main town? Have you ever tried this? What is your experience?

Question #2 is there a way for me to give my friend my digital copy since I don't really use it?

#1 - yup, your town would be fine. i change both of my cartridges between 2 3ds and they work just fine

#2 - i don't think so, but i'm not really sure. someone with experience with digital games might be able to answer that

1. Don't use the dream suite when you change 3DS. Your address will change if you do. Everything else is fine.

2. The person from Nintendo said you own it and it's register to you. So I don't think you can give it to someone.

im confused about this; will it mess up the game and your 3ds if you use the dream suite? or will it just change your dream address? what if youve never uploaded your dream town before? i dont want to ruin my new 3ds by using the dream suite ;v;

No it wouldn't mess up your game and your 3DS. It's only the dream suite address that will change. If you never used the dream suite than your fine because you never received a dream address. You get it on your first visit.
If you go to the dream suite using a different 3DS and get your town updated your address changes. So if you don't want your address to change than don't use the dream suite with a different 3DS. Everything else will be fine.

I switched my main town to a different 3DS during the summer. The only thing that changed was the dream address when I updated it. All the other things were fine. My showcase houses were still there. I did it so my guest town could be opened for visitors while I played my main town.

1. Yes. Everything is saved on the cart except for the Dream Address which, of course, has already been pointed out.
2. Yes. You run the risk of something going wrong with your SD card and corruption. I have no idea what will happen, but a lot of corruption issues originate with the SD Card.
