adopting two villagers in one day?

If i have 8 villagers and i adopt two from other towns on the same day, will both show up in my town? or do i have to wait for one villager to plot before adopting another?

I'm pretty sure that if you adopt two villagers in one day, the second villager overrides the first.

Yeah ,you have to wait for the first adopted villager to plot before you can adopt another one.Like Megatonez said,you'll only get the second villager if you adopt them both without the first one being plotted.
