Adopting multiple villagers from same town

How many villagers have you adopted from the same town - perhaps from a cycle town or a sibling's town? I have 3 villagers in my main town who came via my second/cycle town. Why don't these villagers remember each other or realize they are from the same town? It would be so fun to hear a conversation between them about their old town or have them strike up the old town tune together. I can just hear them gossiping about their old mayor together.

I got most of my villagers/dreamies from a town named LeafBend. (12 in total, but they kept moving away o-o)

I'm guessing it'd be too complicated/hard/effort to code; we already have 333 villagers, each with an unique catchphrase and room (but not personality)

I personally would prefer that they have more variation to dialogue though, having all peppies ask you about what they're wearing and crankies bringing up their niece so often gets kind of boring after a while. It's more obvious when you have more than one personality at one town >_<

Well, it should be a different thread, but I've wondered if there are subtypes in the personalities. I had Paula and Rocket move into my cycle at the same time, and they seemed to be reading from the same Uchi script verbatim. And yet, I've had Cherry and Fuchsia and even though they were Uchis too, they did not seem to follow that script. And I don't think my cranky Grizzly has ever mentioned his niece, but I'll be listening for it now

I've had a lot from my brothers town, maybe 12-18 in total. Sometimes it's good because he is extremely lucky with villagers and the campsite. But other times it's pretty disappointing, (looking at you, Velma)

I have two or three that are from one town, and I think two others that came from a different one. They sing the old tunes from their previous towns sometimes, as well as give you the name of what it was, so at least it's easy to keep track of where they came from that way. Haha.

It is a shame that there's no connection for them to make those realizations about each other, but that could get a bit complicated. And since there's hundreds upon thousands of however many of each villager out there, it might be kind of odd to visit a town that has a villager you do and have them recognize you even though they're in a different town and still in yours. All in all, I'm glad they left things a little more simplistic like this.

I don't think I've gotten more than one villager from a town. I don't cycle, and I didn't buy many of my villagers either, so that could be why.

Margie and Tangy come from the same town. It was by complete chance though, as I don't actually know the person. I just was looking for both of those villagers on ACC, got Margie first and then after winning the auction for Tangy the person's like "hey, aren't you the person I gave Margie to?" It was quite funny actually.
