ACNL Amiibo Card Question

Hello, friends.

How do Amiibo villagers work? I have seen threads about folks lamenting villagers who won't ever move out of their towns. If I go to the Villager Trading Plaza and somehow get one of those villagers, will he or she never move out of my town?

That's not the same thing. If I were to use my amiibo card to move in a villager into my town, and if the rest of my villagers were not from an amiibo card, chances are that villager I moved in would never move. But if I kicked the Villager out with another amiibo and you adopted it, they wouldn't be considered an Amiibo villager for you and therefore would move out normally. At least that's what I've experienced.
