Hiii, I was just wondering a few things.

I have over 85 amiibo cards, and I have an extra acnl copy.
Should I start an adoption center for dreamies in the Villager Plaza?
Who would be interested?
Villagers I think would be 10 tbt each

oo depends on if you need tbt or not!! personally, i started a thread but got tired of doing it after three adoptions lmao. it takes a lot of time and you have to be dedicated to doing it )-: i felt bad for closing down, but it's just so boring.
your prices seem very fair tho! best of luck!

I have seen many people set up shops and then get overwhelmed so I would do it if you want to,
but try to set rules for example:
  • dont make the villagers too cheap, people will overrun your store and you will get overwhelmed - I have seen it
  • If your shop is popular, don?t hesitate to close it (even the whole thread) while you are offline so you dont get too many requests untill you are back on
  • accept requests only when you have time, that makes everything more pleasant for you and others^^
  • have fun doing it!

This, entirely. For a price, I suggest around the 20 TBT range. I'd pay it, and it might help with not being overwhelmed.

^I agree! I tried my luck with 2 adoption shops and none of them replied.
Also, I think, if it's really cheap, it will attract people who are not 100% serious. I saw maaaaany "neverminds" in those threads.
Basically I would be interested in buying, because villagers will be original. I recommend a reasonable price for YOU because it's a lot of work for you. I'd be okay with up to 50 TBT for a dreamie if it's a reliable and quick service.
I hope I'm understandable, English is not my native language ^^?

Completely agree, around 20 should be fair, considering you are not selling an item but a villager. You can only have 10 and they will probably stay with you for a long time, so that price is reasonable.

I don?t think most of those people weren?t serious. It?s just that many threads stagnate and the seller stops replying. Many people post when they want a villager, wait for days and then "chancel" their order because no one replied. I have done that before too. If someone didnt even come online for a couple of days after my order, I made my own thread and bought the villager from someone who is actually "active", which i would recommend you do too if you still want those villagers. Many users here have the cards but don?t own a shop and sometimes browse the marketplace to sell a few villagers to those who requested. Not to mention that some players dont time freeze. So if they end up waiting for days and the seller never responds, another villager moves in and the space is gone, I have seen that.

So in those threads you mentioned, I think the people who wrote "chancel" were the ones actually polite enough to consider, that the seller might be back one day, even though they didnt seem to be active in their shop anymore. I haven?t yet seen people chancel in the shops where the seller is online every day!

yes, maybe :) . But also I think if people see something really cheap they tend to buy more likely. Maybe "serious" was the wrong word I chose :) Right now I stopped looking for Rudy as Bam moved in my town- not a dreamie but I'll keep him for now as jock.
Back to the topic: I think the demand is high, but make sure to make appropriate prices and maybe close the thread if it's getting too overwhelming. Maybe only take a certain amount of trades at one time.
Hope this helps! x

yes, I agree with that, which is why I suggested they should decide on a "decent" price. Words like "all amiibo vilagers" or "cheap" cause a shop to get overrun and closed down in days....
Good luck with getting your dreamies!
