What is your boot of game routine?

I start by rushing to residential service to see if there are any NPCs there, then see map if Redd appears, then comb the beach for gulli brothers, and if there are none I start wandering the island for villager to gift and to see if the collectible bud or rug bug are around.

I used to start off the day collecting 200 gold roses but it stopped.

Everyday I open the game and run through my neighborhood, talk to whoever's outside, go check out the shops (only if they're open when I start for the day), head to the changing room, put on a new outfit, then go diving. I like to get Pascal out of the way then look for other NPC or shop. Then usually I put the game down for a few hours and when I come back I do trades, look for bugs/fish/shells, chuck out flowers I don't want, see if Celeste is around, and that's pretty much it!

I do my rounds of the village, hunting for the 4 fossils, talking to anyone outside, checking for who's crafting, and finding the beach diy. The end of my route is the museum, and if there's nothing on the ground I'll dump the 4 fossils there. If there are already 4 there I'll pick them up and have them assessed, then sell them. This is usually my first time in nooks so I'll shop a bit. I usually get side tracked at this point, but then I need to check the Ables, go to RS for the nook shopping (I use the terminal so I get the miles), and then after that it's definitely depending on which npc is there or what I feel like doing that day.

- check something new that I'm working on (moved a building, got a new villager, changed my house exterior, etc)
- see who's the NPC for the day
- nooks and ables
- gift villagers
- dive for pascal

Honestly the start of my day in new horizons is pretty much the exact same as yours, minus finding villagers to gift stuff to because they're not allowed to receive gifts; I am the only one that's allowed to be showered with gifts. After doing all of the stuff you mentioned above, I also usually check my nook's cranny in case there's any cool items I decide I want, and the same thing goes for able's. Then I go AFK for like 3 hours to browse the internet for trades or inspiration for builds, while getting my blood sucked by 100's of mosquitoes. I might start working on a new or existing area after that, but that doesn't always happen and often times I just end up farming for wood or seasonal materials at the end of the day instead.

Mosquitos? Your blood is too sweet O.o

I go around my island checking things out (hybrid growth, NPCs, DIY bottle of the day, shells, etc) and talk to all my residents, then I go to the shops and see what they have (Nooklings then Ables). Then I check the special shopping items on my Nook phone, and lastly I go swimming and search for a scallop for Pascal.

The first thing I do is look for the diy in the bottle, look for fossil spots, get fossils assessed, check out shops (and sell the fossils I don’t need for the museum), check which villager is giving out a diy, and then dive for pascal. After all that I usually take a break and start doing trades with people

Ahh wow, I feel like I don't get that organized about it haha! My house is right next to the portion of beach that Redd pulls up on so if he's there I can usually tell right away. I usually change my outfit, then run around finding fossils, check for NPCs, buy new clothes, and talk to everyone in town. Then I'll settle in to fishing or catching bugs and selling them for a little while.

I haven't incorporated diving into my routine yet but I really should if I wanna get all the mermaid recipes before the end of the season!!

I always check the mailbox first then I glance at the minimap to check for Redd. Then I go check morning turnip prices. If Ables is open I go shopping. Then I go to the plaza to check for NPC if no Redd. After that if no one is in the plaza I go look for someone walking around. I also go check the campsite if a camper was announced.

Circle island for fossils, glowing spot, and bottle. Stop/visit NPCs I will put up with, sell fossils, dive for Pascal. Usually save and quit after

First stop obviously is the mailbox, might be something exciting 😊. My house is by the beach so a nice walk along is a great start to the day (might pick up some clams as a friend has a liking for them 🙈it’s a problem 😂)

Hunting for Pascal and hope he isn’t hiding from me. Next stop nooks as always breaking my tools 😊 Clothes shopping for a cute outfit and then chat to villagers.

which reminds me i have to send the crown :)

first, i’ll check my mail and deal with anything that’s there. then i’ll make my way around the island where i talk to my villagers, collect materials and dig up fossils + the glowing money spot, water flowers, hunt for the visiting npc, collect shells + my daily diy bottle, collect my daily nook mile bonus and check the recycling bin. after that, i’ll deal with whatever npc is visiting and then go check out the shops. after that, i’ll take a break and then deal with pascal once i come back lmaoo

I run straight to the beach, it’s what I would do irl if I lived so close to the ocean. Then I check the shops, give gifts, and deal with the npcs.

I've currently stopped any routine I have because I've been TT as I'm rapidly building my island with bridges and moving houses. I think once I stop and go back to real time I will probably spend time 1) seeing if Redd is on the map, 2) finding any other NPC, 3) dive for Pascal, 4) talk/ gift villagers and then 5) check out my Nook shops. Depending on the season, I will probably go try to find seasonal DIYs or craft items :D

My basic routine at this point is:
  • Check my mailbox
  • Check turnip prices at Nook's Cranny (I've stopped doing turnips but I still check them regardless, lol)
  • Check Able's Sisters for any clothing I might be missing
  • Find the NPC visiting my island that day and do what I need to do with them
  • Swim in the ocean and keep getting sea creatures until Pascal appears
  • Talk to all my villagers and gift them all some non-native fruit
  • Find all 4 fossils and get them assessed by Blathers
  • Hit all 6 rocks
  • Complete all 5 Nook Miles+ activities that have bonuses
  • Water any flowers that I need to
  • Harvest the money tree, then find the glowing spot and plant 10k bells
  • Harvest any fruit trees if necessary
  • Afterwards, just run around and try to catch more bugs/fish/sea creatures and complete more Nook Miles+ activities

Check the shops, talk to whoever's around the plaza, dive till I find a scallop, maybe beach comb or hit some trees/rocks if I'm running low on resources.

-mail
-check map for redd
-check for other NPCs
-check for rock spawn
-check beaches for Gulliver and bottles
-check nooks/able’s
-gift villagers

from there, it’s not predictable anymore
