ACNH 3.0 Update Out !!!!

I'm kinda interested how the hotel looks via going to someone's dream address.
Just wanna see how 'in the way' it may look if you're exploring an island where a hotel would ruin the theme. If anyone updates their dream address, lemmie know.

Okay, I don't know if it's the way I speak or the way my accent sounds, but lately I've been having trouble calling villagers. I was trying to call "Filbert," but the way the game interprets it gets confused. One minute it thinks I was calling on "Admiral," and the next it thinks I called "Kapp'n." I looked all over my island for Filbert. I checked all the villager homes to see if he was there. He wasn't. Checked the shops (Nook Cranny and Able Sisters). He wasn't there. Then I tried the Mesusum. He wasn't there.

I must sound like a manic, shouting Filbert's name 9 or 10 times, and the game is not really helping my situation. I eventually found him at the bottom-right corner of the island, which is the beach. I was like, "Are you serious right now?!"

Maybe I'm going crazy, but this megaphone is so frustrating to use.

I remember back in New Leaf, I got frustrated using the megaphone, made a fart noise, then Kapp'n responded.

Good to see that the megaphone is no different than what it was in New Leaf. That's one of the reasons I barely used it in the first place. Like if I go to one of my New Leaf towns now, I'll just find it sitting away in the storage collecting digital dust. lol

I don't have the Switch 2, so I'm glad I'm not missing much.

It looks like once you unlock the themed items from the hotel room you just designed you only get the one colour style for it which is like the nookmile points items. I find it so fun being able to trade with others to go collect all the colour variants.

I also wanted to add that I got a completely different colour variant to the ones supplied for designing that room.

This is my fourth room so far! I decided to start making some hotel facilities, like a spa!

Someone mentioned you can do two rooms a day, this doesn't seem to be the case for me. I did the first room yesterday, and you can do the second right away, but since it was late I waited until today - now, after finishing it, Leilani says I have to wait until tomorrow to decorate another room. There also doesn't seem to be an option to redecorate (at least not yet), so simply doing the bare minimum and then returning once you have time (so you can unlock more rooms and therefore more tourists ASAP) isn't an option, at least not at first.

ETA: First thing I did this morning was design the hotel outfits, and Caroline is already wearing one - so cute! Although the outfit she chose doesn't match her super well, lol.

Don't know if it's be stated yet, but the features you unlock in HHP, such as changing room sizes can be carried over to the hotel. I noticed some Youtubers doing the hotel didn't have to ability to change their hotel room sizes due to not having done HHP.

Having completed HHP, I was able to access these at the hotel just as I would at HHP

• Room ambience
• Room lighting
• Room entry way
• Wall partitions
• Pillars
• Counters

I was able to do 2 rooms. Room #1 Seaside, and Room #2 (Modern or Japanese) before Leilani said to wait until tomorrow to do more.

Yeah, I think it's just that the game has "break" points in-between, rather than being able to do two a day every day. I did #1 yesterday before going to bed, and thought I would be able to do #2 and #3 today, but was only able to do #2 before being told to wait. IDK if it's that something gets added with #3 that necessitates a break, or if the other rooms will follow a similar pattern.

Was shocked to see that the request box outside the hotel DOES NOT reset daily. If you get stuck on four items you can’t craft, you’ll be unable to utilize it until you can move some of those requests out by completing them!

That's what I mentioned earlier. And worst depending on what season it is you might be requested to do diy that requires acorns, pinecones, or ornaments and those are so horrible trying to get, let alone for a random request.

I'm stuck with one that requires me to get 4 cardboard boxes and I'm not doing that. I'd have to waste my 5 day item limit just to do 1 request. I did a few ice series furniture but again I would've rather saved my snowflakes for myself. I think they'll probably reset after a week.

That's sad. There's some items that feel like a waste of resources to craft, which are not worth the reward. Maybe it will reset in a week or two, or even with the season changes.
