I was TTing around doing some dumb stuff / recklessly not checking everyone to see who was moving and... I made Stitches move. Of all the villagers, my absolute favorite! The moment Isabelle said he was moving made my heart drop, and appropriately made me feel really dumb.

I'll be cycling to get him back -- does anyone know if the villager reset trick (i.e. resetting when a random new villager is moving in to get the one you want) works for villagers that have lived there before, or does it have to come from another file? Obviously being popular, he'd be expensive to replace.

Feel free to share your own stories of your favorite villagers moving out accidentally. ; o ;

I wil try to get him back when I can. Ed was standing where his house was and it made me think how I would feel if someone would move in and take that space. Eloise suggested the hot spring this morning and decided that would be perfect.

And really sorry for your loss on Stitches and Ribbot...both of you. Been there too. I accidentally set the wrong time to one month forward and I lost my Zell...all he left is a pic of him and a letter (still keeping) lol...I move on already.

ah, well... I turned the game off after Isabelle said he was moving, and then tried to TT back a day to make him get out of boxes even though that was dumb and obviously wouldn't work (I was sleep deprived/grasping at straws/just stupid idk) so he just got voided and is totally gone now.
