Idk, I just feel like posting meaningful posts.

I feel sometimes that I try too hard to be accepted. Sometimes, it's better to be unaccepted instead of conforming to whatever the government or our friends or just people in general want us to be. It's getting quite tiresome, and we're losing who we really are in the "Status Quo". I mean I'm tired of worrying about what I might be called or what i might be labelled as.

Getting accepted doesn't always mean conforming either. I mean you don't have to change the way you think or the way you do things to be accepted. If you want to be accepted that badly, make sure it's with people that are worth it. Don't try to be accepted into groups that make you change. My grandpa always said, "Your most important thing is your character." Once you lose that, you seem to lose yourself.

Anyways, any thoughts or anything on Acceptance vs. Conformation?

I don't give a *censored.2.0* whether I'm accepted or not. Society can go screw itself in the ass. What I do care about is the people that do accept me for who I am and not for what society thinks I should be. It's [our] life anyways.

You really need to seek a balance, you see conforming to society isn't always losing your own individuality. Hold onto what is you, but you cannot completely reject all of society. There is no doubt you have conformed to something in the past and no doubt you will in the future, even if it is just being polite. Fact is if no one conformed to anyone else we would have tremendous barriers in communicating with each other. Different phrases meaning would never be understood. However it is a good idea to keep a good chunk of individuality, for it is what allows for invention and progress, though perhaps through trial and error. Either way you must find a balance.

Not to say there aren't parts of myself I will never let conform to someone else, but those are called principles.

The problem is Bacon Boy, it's human. We are creatures that have to be accepted, we're nurtured by sympathy, kindness. However, I agree, the pursuit of acceptance is very bothersome when you think of it as absolutely necessary. You never should adapt yourself and change who you are to become what someone else wants you to be. Be yourself. Don't give a *censored.2.0* about any ******** that come telling you to change.
