3 days ago, I managed to adopt Marshal from a kind member on TBT. He's one of my dreamies, so of course I was really happy and planned on keeping him forever and ever. H-He even called me his best friend in a letter to me.

And then today, after the bug-off, I get a ping from him. He's been in my town for 3 days and he already wanted to move away.

Dang kid, I didn't think you'd hate my town THAT much. Or me. Thankfully I caught the ping and he's staying. Forever.

Has anyone else ever had someone they recently adopted come and ping them a few days later and want to move? It's pretty rude if you ask me, yeesh.

Actually? Damn I better watch my newly adopted villager too. Thanks for the heads up!

Oh my god Same @Marshal. Like.. do you hate Mizuriel that much ;-;... oh well he's stopped now. after a month. it's freaking coco all the time now

This actually just happened to me!

I was TTing trying to get Grizzly out of my town (I picked him up from someone's void and he moved in unexpectedly, therefore taking my 10th villager spot, ugh.) and I got a ping from Zucker.

I know I picked him up sometime last week, and now he wants to move out! Geez, my town must be really bad, lol. But seriously, I am glad I caught his ping or else I would have been devestated.

I don't know why this is, but I'm pretty sure the villager who wants to move out is random. Not entirely sure, though.

Yes it is random. The newest villager normally doesn't move out so quickly though.

Of course this only happens with villagers you wanna keep though. God forbid that unwanted freak moves out three days after his unwanted plotting. Always the ones you wanna keep lol.

Frita once told me she wanted to move out 4 days after she moved in :v

This happened to me before too, where a villager who I actually didn't want since he plotted RIGHT BY MY OLD BRIDGE AND RIVER AND EVERY OTHER POSSIBLE THING THAT ISABELLE WOULDN'T ALLOW EVEN A 1X1 PWP AT, decided to move out like, maybe a week or less after plotting his stupid house down. I DID get 3 million bells for him off GameFAQs though :)

Marshal did that to me too. He was my newest villager, but he wanted to move out! He's very picky. Maybe I should just tie him to his house.

Baabara asked me to move out just a couple days after moving in, and so did Grizzly too.

And then of course villagers I'm actually trying to get out take forever to ping and ask, ahh the struggle

Jeez gimme your luck pls kthanks

I'd appreciate it if Rosie did this :/
(I don't hate her but she chose the worst possible place to put her house)

Tch, if only Purrl would do this to me. I waited for 4 months with no TTing for her to ping me after she moved and she hasn't, so I've relented and am now waiting for Chief to ping me about moving. He was a dreamy, but a very badly placed one so I opted to let him leave and try to get back one of my starters, Wolfgang again.

I moved Bunnie into my all-bunny town a few days ago and she's apparently thinking of moving, thanks to O'Hare giving me a heads up.

I lost cookie a few days after I adopted her and I was devasted! I never got the ping and never thought she'd be the first to move out since she was the first to move in.

I think it was bc I gave here a lot of attention and did a lot of favors for her right away. I heard when villagers are tour good friends and you've done a bunch of stuff for them they'll try to move out. This may not be true, but when it happened to me I was so shocked and confused bc I treated her so well.
