Once you send a birthstone once to someone, and it has gift received from [so-and-so], you can't send it again (at least that's what I heard). So, if you sell them to someone they'll be stuck with them forever, unless they trash them. Lowering the price a lot might get a sale, but only if someone wants extra icons under their pro pic :/

I'm asking on a different section to make sure I'm right, but I remember seeing a few threads this week about how people lately have been having issues sending gifted birthstones. I know it's not always been like this, so hopefully the mods will fix it (hopefully; I hope this isn't the cost of the new apple and toy hammer)
