Hello!

I have a question.
My question is;

My brother and i have an sd card of our own and also a system too.
My system was recently sent to get repaired, so i'm using his.

Story of Seasons came out and i want to get it on eshop, is it possible to switch the sd cards?
If that didn't make sense, what i'm trying to say was,

Could i use my Sd Card on my brothers ds to get Story of Seasons?

Since this isn't a place for questions like this, i'll give 50btb to the person who answered this as an apology.
I'm sorry! ;a;

I don't think so. My friend and I swapped SD cards once (she had Dual Destinies on her SD card, and wanted to lend it to me), but I wasn't able to load it on my 3DS.

P.S. The Nintendo Treehouse is probably the best place for a question like this.

It dosnt work that way. Each SD card matches with their own system, therefore if you download SOS on your brothers DS with your SD card, you would only be able to play it on his DS.

I hope this makes sense!

No i believe the cards are tied to the system so you are only able to get a hard copy if you were wanting to have your own copy. You can't individually transfer just the copy of the game to your system.

Yes its saved onto the SD card and you just have to switch it onto your ds i believe

darn, all the copies were sold out. Aha.

Would it be possible if you were to do a system transfer though?

Thank you for answering the questions.
Since a lot of you answered, i'd feel guilty to just to give the 50btb to one person.
All 4 of you will get the payment.

You would lose all of your data on your 3ds and have your brothers data instead, i would honestly wait until yours comes back from the shop or if you are able to find someone here/afford to buy the hard copy, that's what i'm doing for someone here who really wants it c:

You could, but it would transfer everything from your brother's 3DS over to yours. Anything you had on your 3DS from before would be lost. At least I think that's how it works, I've never done a system transfer before, but the idea is that you can't transfer games easily to prevent one person from buying the game and then sharing it with a bunch of other people.

oh i see.
That's very kind of you. I'd do that, but i don't think it would happen that easily, aha.
