Hello!
I was wondering: if you have multiple human characters, do you speak to your villagers with more than one of them?
I've got three human characters living in my main town, but I only ever speak to my villagers with my mayor.
If you do speak to your villagers with more than one character, do they constantly talk about your other characters? Do they even come up in discussion at all?
Thank you for reading!

I have two extra human characters and I've introduced both of them to all the animals and will speak to them very occasionally to have all my characters be on 'speaking terms' with all my animals. Since I have 10/10 dreamies, this makes sure that I will still get move-out pings even when I'm not playing on my mayor.

And yes, they will talk about your other characters occasionally.

Thank you very much for your answer!
If you ever go for too long without speaking to a villager on one of your save files, do they get antsy about it to other players? (Do they complain or anything along those lines?)

Yes, they will. As I had mentioned before I speak very minimally to my animals (once a week), sometimes they will complain to my mayor and say things like "Are you friends with -playername-? To be honest, I wish they would go out of their way to talk to me more". So even if you do occasionally speak with your animals, they will still tell your mayor that they want to get to know 'you' better. It's quite cute, actually c:

Hope this helps!

I introduced them to all the villagers, but don't really talk with them. I only use their files for about 5-10 minutes for daily things then I go to my Mayor file.

Thank you both so much for answering!
Izora, that's extremely helpful!! I really appreciate it, thank you!

I try and keep up with my villagers and characters, sometimes it doesn't work though. I'm more inclined to talk to certain villagers with different characters, but with my mayor I talk to everyone. With Cat I talk to Ankha a lot, and with Ruby I talk to Peanut. I'll speak to someone with them if I know I haven't done it in a while.

I have 2 extra human characters and I use them as tools for different stuff. With the mayor I speak to all of my villagers, some more than others, but nothing different from regular gameplay.

One of the extra humans is for paths, and I haven't introduced her to any of the villagers (with minimal NPC interaction). And just load the save for hoarding items or fixing paths. No one ever talks about this character, nor pings her.

The second one I use for speeding the move outs of villagers I don't want in my town. I read somewhere a tip/guide about it and I try to do it. It kinda seems to work. I try to load the save regularly and speak with my fav villagers, those I don't want to move out. To the non-desired ones I just introduce her... to never ever speak to them again in a cruel-ignore-you-style way, even when they ping to her (that makes me feel horrible, but yeah...). The villagers sometimes talk about this one, or show the mayor letters I wrote with this character.

I hope this info helps!

I intentionally avoid talking to them with my shopkeep, since I don't want them to clutter my pockets with stuff

everyone else is fine though

I have one extra character. They have their own areas of that they cover. The mayor takes the area north of the river and the extra takes the south. They keep whatever they dig up in their area, and take care of sick villagers in their area. And I have them talk to any villagers they see.

I have multiple characters. I use them to talk to villagers since I like them to be on talking terms with all the animals. They do come up in conversations. For example, if I haven't played with one of them in a while, villagers will sometimes say to another human character that they haven't seen that character lately.

I do, though with 4 it's getting a little too busy, so I'm gonna alternate between the mayor and just one of them a day. If 1 misses a week they start asking questions. On the other hand having a good relationship means multiple gift and that sometimes they get a ping when one of the animals wants to leave.

Early on I just played as the mayor. The side players were an island girl and the other was a runner to drop items in another person town.
Now that I've got all the PWP I bring out the side players after the mayor has checked on everyone.
My main town is closed to visitors except for my other towns. They don't drop by much so the villagers are happy to see the side players. Christa is the fun late night party girl and hits the island a lot.
I always make sure to bring the side player out before their birthdays. Work on getting the friendship up so they get a nice gift.
All the player got the chocolate Valentine Heart from Iggly.

No, I make sure that they don't speak to my villagers at all. I've even quit without saving before just because I spoke a villager accidentally. :D

I rarely talk to my villagers with my other players, since they're there just for the houses they occupy, but when I do they all get so sad saying I've ignored them. Also the villagers will occasionally ask about the other players asking what I know about them, then saying they don't want the surprised ruined for when they get to know them themselves. It makes me feel kind of bad...
