A question about villagers' leaving dates?

Hello all. It's been a while since I've moved someone out of town naturally, but in my new town, I'm doing so. Bangle says she is leaving 10/29. I need a refresher: is that the day she's boxed? Or the day she's gone for good?

Any help would be great, thanks!

I believe that is the day they are moving and are in boxes. After that they should be gone the next day. Hope this helps.

^^^^^Yup. Also, on the day that they are boxes Isabelle will mention that a villager is moving; and that it would be best if you say farewell to them.

That's the day they are in boxes, the day after is when they will leave. The move out date is basically your last chance to say goodbye to your friend!

This was something I forgot in my new town, too. Last week Spork said he was moving on the 24th, and I didn’t know if that meant he’d be boxed up or gone already. Thanks for the clarification!

Yeah, I had the same question. Patty said she was moving on the 24th, so I thought that meant she'd be in boxes the 23rd. But she's in boxes today. So, the day they say they're moving is the boxes day.
