So I know that in order for an amiibo villager to ask to move in, they need to be invited on 3 different days and crafted 3 separate things - not necessarily on 3 consecutive days.
However, I thought that before committing to having permanent move-ins, I'll first just experiment with amiibo villagers in the campsite to collect more recipes, etc., and see how they are in-game.
So today I invited Goldie, crafted her item and I know she'll be gone by tomorrow.
Now, my question is - if I invite a different amiibo villager tomorrow, will Goldie's first visit get overwritten or does the game still remember that she was invited by me once already so her next visit will be treated as her 2nd one?
I hope the question makes sense and would appreciate any input.
I’ve been wondering the exact same thing. I was gonna try it myself but I haven’t had time yet. Would be interesting to know, especially for those who want to set amiibo villagers up for moving straight in on empty plots.
oh you should bump this because i definitely wonder this. next day, so you can only invite 1 amiibo per day right? sorry for barging in and answering your question with a question lol.
So yesterday I invited Goldie.
Today, I invited Merry.
I will try inviting Goldie again tomorrow and see if she remembers that she already visited my town or if it will kind of reset her visits from the start.
Let's see.
I've invited three different villagers two days in a row each, thinking that I would get them primed and ready to be invited in anytime. But now that I've seen this question, I'm wondering if it even works. If anyone knows the answer to this, I'd be curious to hear it. Otherwise, I'll test it myself tomorrow and post my findings here.
More specifically, six days ago, I scanned in Willow, and then I scanned her again the next day. Both times, I made the furniture she asked for. After that, I scanned Marshal in two days in a row and made the furniture that he wanted. Then yesterday and today, I scanned Cookie, and made her requests as well.
Tomorrow, I'll scan Willow again and see if she considers it her third visit, and if she'll move in after I make what she asks for. If it works, I'll probably get lots of other amiibo ready to move in, in case I need to make someone move right away.
