A question a lot of people probably want to know

I mean you could just time travel back to the last day before you took a break, then carefully time travel to current..?

You can also stop playing on a day that you stop a villager from moving. I have 5 towns and I can't possibly play them all everyday. It's real easy for me to keep my villagers. When they run over to me and say they want to move, I just tell them to stay. Then I can stop playing for as long as I like.

Yeah this actually works! I've personally TTed back to the last day I played and it was like no time had passed. All my villagers were giving me the "what, you again?" dialogue as if I'd already talked to them 10 times that day.

really? i didnt know that one of my villagers ask to move yesterday and i stopped them and havent been on since wow thanks!

Basically, just keep track of the last day you played and time travel back to that day when you pick it up again. Then play day by day until one of your villagers pings you to move. Say no, and then you're free to TT as far as you want since the logic is that the game hasn't had the time to pick the next villager to ping you for a move yet. Or yeah, just stop playing on a day that a villager pings you to move. Either way.

You're wecome. I personally like this method because I'm not a big time traveler and I would probably forget when I last played. Plus, I don't like messing with the in game clock. So, this works well for me.

Even if you stop playing on a day when a villager doesn't ask to move you can still time travel back to the last day you played and it will still be fine.

I definitely recommend writing down the last day you played just to be safe.
