Okay, first of all I wanna state that I play on a digital copy.
Has anyone else ever had this problem?! I'm a time traveler, have been ever since I got the game. I recently restarted my town AGAIN and everything's been going really smoothly! Yesterday, November 10th, I was at the library and I was time travelling in my new town to talk to Sable and get the QR machine unlocked. I time travelled ONE DAY - to today's date, November 11th. Right as Isabelle was saying "Preparing your town, please wait" the game crashed and I got this message:
Now, I've gotten this message before and it's always a pretty quick fix, or just some random bug. I loaded up the game again and - to make sure that everything was okay - I time traveled instead to December 12th. Everything loaded up just fine, and so I saved the game, and changed the date back to the actual date - November 10th. I assumed that meant that the crash was just a random crash for no reason, but I didn't time travel again after that cause I got busy with other things.
This morning at around 8 am, I opened my game to load it up (keep in mind that when I saved and quit yesterday, my game was still in REAL time, central time which is the zone I live in, and on the 10th like real life) and it crashed before I could even get to Isabelle at the startup screen. I opened the game, it loaded the black screen and the little train in the corner moved a tiny bit before it froze and crashed.
For some reason, I am thinking that today's date is totally glitched!! I haven't been able to load it up at all today, every single time it's crashed. It is only 7pm where I am so I can't even try to load it up for another 5 hours, where it'll technically be November 12 (midnight, lol). Has anyone ever experienced something similar? I am sure I will load it up tomorrow and it will be fine but I am still freaked. Lol.
