So, another week brings another chance to improve Fairview! I'm really getting into this Mayor-business now! I'm going to take a moment to look back on times before I became Mayor, and what I'd like for my villagers in the future.
When I first moved to Fairview, I wanted to better myself, make new friends, and earn a living in a small, calm town that was close to nature. I was attracted by the peaceful way of life, the relaxing beaches, the museum that, when completed, I could spend hours in. It would be a place to live until I was growing old, and by then I'd have earned enough Bells to live comfortably. Even though I am Mayor, I still want that life. And that's what I want my residents to have as well. My vision of a perfect life... A peaceful existence with friends and neighbours you can rely on, a good clothes shop, a nice selection of furniture, a small Cafe to socialise and meet with friends, perhaps a small club for those who want a bit of a nightlife. Before I moved, I thought someone else would provide me with that. But now... I can provide it for others, and myself. And that feeling is better than any other feeling in the world.

Yesterday, I earned 300,000 Bells in one trip to the island, chose to expand the second floor of my home, invited a few friends over and finished putting paths all over my town! Now everything is connected, and I just hope my villagers stick to the paths! My orchard is almost fully grown now, so it's looking great! I've bred a couple of hybrids as well, which makes me happy!
