Isabelle informed me this morning that I had a visitor at the campsite and it was Chief. Although I never planned to have Chief move in, I checked his personality anyways and saw that it was Cranky. I haven't set a Cranky "dreamy" yet and I already have Del on my island, who I really don't want. If I had to choose between Del and Chief, I would go with Chief until I decide who I would want on my island for the Cranky personality.
I've been hearing about the exterior glitches and as someone who's been trying to avoid glitches at all cost, I would rather not run into the glitch. I've been looking through some past threads on the topic and I've been seeing the glitch being paired with time traveling a lot. I choose not to time travel (nothing against TT either) and I have not missed a single day either (saw something about skipping days).
Is it true that if I get Chief to replace Del and play every single day until he unpacks and walks out around the island, I won't get the exterior glitch? Or is there still a chance that this could happen?
