A little help deciding on a villager?

HELLO
I have a bit of a predicament. I originally had my villagers planned out for me to want no more than 10, but I've recently realized Tybalt looks like he drank 27 red bulls and he's ready to run 3 marathons. Naturally, he belongs on my island.
Once I have him on my island though, I'll have two jocks. Rod and Tybalt. I don't really think I want more than one... so I was thinking of replacing Rod with a normal villager and couldn't decide between Lily, Maple, or June.
Or... should I just keep Rod? He was my buddy in New Leaf and one of my starting villagers in NH, so I'm feeling kinda indecisive about this. I feel like I wanna try out a new villager, but... I dunno.

If you already have a normal, I’d say keep Rod for a little while longer. Otherwise, get a normal!

I like June and I think she suits the island concept the best among most villagers and she’s cute but I’m biased to Maple because she means a lot to me so I voted her. But that’s influenced by my own personal bias. Maple is such a sweetheart and she’s one of my must haves.

I'd suggest June. She's cute, underrated, has a nice exterior and interior and has a nice design. I've had her before and find her really fun and nice so I think you should go with her

This is really tricky. Rod is a fantastic jock. He's adorable. Best mouse for sure. On the other hand, Maple and Lily are really cute. I personally have Maple and adore her. I actually flinched yesterday from her cuteness. Like she was so adorable that I had to coo.

If it were me, I'd go with Rod and Maple instead of Tybalt and another, but I'm not you! You have to do what will bring you happiness every time you play.

I think you should keep Rod seeing as he was your nl buddy!! Personally I lean more towards getting another jock, since the normal personality has been toned down quite a bit in new horizons and I found their dialogue gets quite boring and repetitive quickly. Really cute villagers but dialogue wise, not very interesting. But if you don't have a normal, i'd recommend probably going for Lily in that case. But you also mentioned wanting to try new villagers, so I think maybe you should give it a try and see how it goes, I think if you're even considering letting Rod go that probably means that you're ready to let him leave.

If you dont feel ready to let Rod go yet maybe you could keep him around till you feel ready! (or till youve had enough about hearing about their collective muscles lol)

Rod is 100% best mouse bro. And I absolutely adore Maple's design in NH! She looks so soft and sweet.

Maybe I could give two jocks a try? I was never a fan of their dialog in New Leaf, but it does feel different in New Horizons...

YEAH! There's something about him that is just so... perfect. He's lowkey adorable and I dig the brows. I haven't had too many different jocks, so I'm kinda excited to meet more. I think maybe I'll do that. I'll let both of them hang around for a bit. And maybe just see how it goes?

Out of your list I'd vote to keep June. She's super cute and kind of a unique villager as in not a ton of people have her on their island. Maple is also a great choice though. I kinda love all of the cubs.
