A day of great joy and great disappointment... I should have checked my campsite!

So by absolute chance and two small accidents I got Tia this morning, after Curlos had moved out yesterday,
for FREE from an awesome user here~
And in my excitement I forgot to check my campsite, knowing I’d likely have a new smug in it...
Guess who it was?

Freaking MARSHALL

I’m not even a big Marshall fangirl like a lot of people are, and I love Tia.
But I really was anxious about finding a new smug because there are only a few decent ones(in my opinion)
and they tend to be EXPENSIVE!
So it’s a happy day because my girl Tia is back, but also like... Marshall...
I’ve never even had Marshall before because he’s so elusive and I was never willing to pay the price.
So I’m kinda bummed I don’t get to experience him first hand after years of wondering what the hype was about, you know?

so basically learn from my mistakes, but also Oh well!

You know you can still get him when your town is full right? Just keep asking til he wants to move in and if he does he'll think of someone to kick out, and if it's someone you don't want to leave don't save and try again

I am very happy for you that you got Tia! One of my best friends just got her today as well and she's so cute!! The thing with popular villagers is always (at least to me) that there is the danger of them being not as exiting as everyone portrayed them. I always wanted Ankha in my town in NL since she was SO hyped and when I finally got her I was a bit disappointed haha

Ain't that the way! LOL. You just have to laugh when things like this happen to you. But as someone already mentioned, you CAN still convince him to move! Even if you lose the card game a couple times, you can still harass him into accepting. Fingers crossed!

Back in the early days of NL Marshal randomly moved in to my town before I even knew how popular he was. He's pretty cute, one of the better designed smugs, but Henry will always be the love of my life ❤

Sounds like a great day haha! If you got Tia for free from a member here, I think I saw the post but she was already given, you're lucky! So I continued to visit some islands and I got Beau so, I am happy with it.

I never got any villager in the campsite tho, not even once.. (beside the first time)
