A consult regarding Villager Friendship Levels.

Hi.
I note that in this game gain Villagers friendship seems to be a bit harder in comparison with other games (at least for me).

1: They're barely ask me for stuff or favors.

2: After months of being in my Island, Pietro ask me to help him choose a greeting.

3: Roscoe just give a nick name after a month.

What i'm trying to ask is that if you have any advices to level up the friendship level.

Even at the highest level of friendship, favors are much rarer in this game. The best way to increase friendship is to give them gifts. They will display gifts in their house and sometimes replace some of their current furniture, so some players prefer to give them fruit to keep their houses original. There's stuff at the link about how many friendship points you get for everything.

I really wish there was some kind of friendship meter we could see, would really help. my biggest issue is that nintendo keeps changing things in regards to what triggers the possibility of getting a photo. I think now it's wrapped gifts worth a certain amount, I give 3 wrapped non native fruit(not counting coconuts), 3 pumpkins or 3 giant clams. And it sucks that even at the right level getting a photo is still random to a degree. Etoile asked me to make up a greeting today so at least I know I'm at the point where there is a chance of getting hers. good luck
