The only chicken I've ever had was Leigh in the Gamecube version. Not sure why they cut her out of the games. She was a good villager... Anyway, maybe this particular chicken will grow on you? I wouldn't do anything as drastic as resetting, lol.

The chickens are pretty horrendous looking though. Maybe they should just make them into chicks... Not enough chicks in the game lol!
Did you load the game as your mayor or another existing character? If you did, you can't reset now. If you want to avoid getting species you want, as long as you have less than 10 villagers, use a new character to check for plots in your town.
I like the chickens in the game. Maybe your new villager will grow on you, I had a bunch of villagers I didn't like at first but ended up really liking. It can just take some time. If you really do hate them, you can always be patient and move them out as soon as you can.

At least it isn't a mouse (shudder) the only terrible species in the game.
Then you really can't reset to try to get a new character.

Nah, it depends on how long you've had you're town. If it's new, then maybe, unless your town is coming along nicely. Otherwise, I'd just keep him until he left. c:
