If you made friends with someone who had an older version of the Japanese game cartridge and knew how to do the glitch I guess it would happen for you, otherwise there's no way to do it unfortunately.

well after buying 50 saplings from leif he finally gave me the golden axe. but i don't think i made any friends w/ the older japenese version unfortunately.

The golden tools and things now on my island aren't the ones that I earned in game, but are others that were dropped off by my friend. I wish we could just take things over with a locker system or something.

Another thing, I can breed hybrids on the island now thanks to the golden watering can I was given .
