I hope they implement it in the next game. I wonder why they didn't include a locker considering they put an ABD.

Aww thanks I made it myself. Yes money tree was planted :D, I'll post a picture when it's fully grown.
 
Yes because you don't really need a ABD do you? unless you are giving someone bells, a locker would have been a better choice.

So true, I wondered what the point of the ABD was without locker items to sell/buy. Saying that I gave a couple of million bells away so it was nice to be able to do that.
 
I don't do glitches except online so I don't know if it's possible to build PWPs on an impossible spot (in the waters, on the railtracks etc) in the NA and EU versions like you can in the JP version. If anyone playing the localized version can perform that bug, then yes you can bring items to the island using the same trick. I found the instructions in Japanese, let me know if anybody can and I'll translate it.

In practice, I don't. But I know how they do it. But it's useless if that particular bug is fixed in the US/EU versions, so I won't post it unless someone else can tell me whether they can perform the PWP bug I mentioned in the US/EU versions or not. :)

You need the very old Japanese version of Animal Crossing to place PWPs in impossible spots. I think.

That's also what I think. Looks like we just can't do it. They're using that PWP bug with some additional steps. If anyone has the Japanese version and for some reason wants to try it out, PM me. I'm not sure if this forum allows glitching/duping instructions in public anyway

But if that person has the old Japanese version, isn't their ability to go to places that require wi-fi no luck?

The wi-fi patch can be un-installed to perform the bug and re-installed to go online, right?

They're smuggling the golden tools (one at a time) as if those were flowers or clothes. Once they go on their island they can just put the smuggled stuff in the box. THEN reinstall the wifi patch to go online.

To their private islands, not the public islands. Is that possible to keep installing and re-installing the patches?
 
The version 1.1 patch is just an extra data that can be deleted via system settings and redownloaded from eshop. They'll just finish multiplying stuff and smuggling them on their PRIVATE islands (offline), put them in their box, then redownload the patch to go ONLINE PUBLIC islands. Then they simply will take out the duped golden tools from their box and give them to TC.

Ah, I get it. Then that is probably possible.
 
In fact that's part of their instruction. I just left out the how-to-smuggle-using-the-PWP-bug part because it's useless discussing it here.

Yeah. Though it is already patched for the US, EU and [current] JP versions. Unless someone really has the old one.
