I got most of my villagers/items over on ACC community lol or from my second copy so not too much different I joined here with the idea of "If a villager doesn't get adopted on ACC, I'll give them a second chance on TBT" since I used to cycle..and still occasionally do.
I would have a catalog with literally 10 items
I would have 2 hybrids.
I would be dirt poor
I would have garbage villagers.
I would not be mayor
I would not have known ANY of the tricks.
I guess my town would have been more or less the same. I learned about paths/qr designs from my friend before the game was even released. And I made a list of villagers I liked before I joined tbt. Most of my item trades haven been either from tumblr or gamefaqs. Though I guess that I did find a few items here (even if for the most part my buying threads are ignored.) I got my villagers on my own too, though I did buy a few for a friend (but most of them I got on other sites)
Um, I probably wouldn't have all the neat items I do. Or the dream villagers (Lolly, Tangy, Merengue, Marina, Tia, Felicity) that were giving to me by cyclers and my bestie, who I met on here. I know I'd be broke... I made a big part of my bells selling Club Nintendo codes on here, along with exchanging my TBT bells. I wouldn't have any friends or anyone to visit because I'm the only one I know with the game, aside from my boyfriend's mum.
To be honest? I won't even have a town right now. Seriously.
I've never played AC with anyone before, so being in TBT makes it a lot more fun for me. It's... like a forum-based MMO. I'm filling up my town with everything I like now, and that's awesome. I've never done that in my older AC games. I mean, I enjoyed those, but I couldn't care less about my town, much less my villagers and I easily got tired of it. Plus I had no one to discuss AC with. xD
Without TBT (or my friends), I'd have put down the game and stopped playing by now, probably. xD
I wouldn't have almost 100% catalog, and I would have very few hybrids. Couldn't grow any purple flowers to-save-my-life and my favorite color is purple. Thank you everyone that has ever helped me.
Prior to joining The Bell Tree Forums, I looked up some "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" general information elsewhere. I think this forum is informative along with being insightful. I don't think I would have bought additional copies of the game if it weren't for this forum. And I may have given up the game. (Or essentially may have given up the game.) That's what I imagine might have been the case with me had I not come across The Bell Tree Forums. This site, this forum, has helped expand my adventure in playing "Animal Crossing: New Leaf."
