Compared to Acbay, probably nothing has changed. I get my villagers through auctions on Acbay.

Well I haven't been part as long as you all have. But I can say that I wouldn't have Eugene and blue roses! And also, since joining and seeing other people towns, and just seeing other people talk about their towns has given me motivation and inspiration for my towns. I was starting to get pretty upset with my first town, and how it was looking (and how hard it was to grow blue roses), but this board has made me feel a renewed motivation for meeting the challenge!

I'd still probably have:

it'd be a hot mess since I wouldn't know about the plot reset
I wouldn't have:

-Ruby
-Muffy
-Diana
-Fauna
-Lily
-Drift

I wouldn't have many bells nor the items I do have
But, I'd probably enjoy AC a lot more :/

I'm assuming you mean ACNL forums in general including things like ACC/Reddit. I would still have dreamies. I looked up a list and decided preferred villagers before the game was even released...I knew exactly who I wanted and the rest were just ones I got attached to in the game.
I may not of known about cycling anymore..I probably still would of ended up with a second copy. I had a second copy of WW too. I probably wouldn't really of known about exclusives to different regions and I wouldn't of had my train station upgrade at all...Probably wouldn't have a lot of things cataloged that I do now. I, honestly, would of probably lost interest faster in the game after awhile...

I would never have discovered Marshal, Fauna, any of my current villagers, all the good furniture sets and items, and probably wouldn't be playing it right now.

I broke down and started doing the plot reset trick because of TBT, so I would probably have a bunch of crappy villagers. I also wouldn't have nearly as many items that I wanted as I do now, and I never imagined having a shot at the train station upgrade before I joined here (I'm over halfway there now). I wouldn't have any blue roses either.

If it came down to paths and qr codes it would be the same as I get most of mine from tumblr, however, I would say that my villagers probably wouldn't be the same, although, I use multiple forums to get the villagers I want so it's not like I wouldn't have gotten them eventually. I guess tbt only affects how SOON I get things.

My town would be pretty much exactly the same. Any help I've received with my game came from ACC anyway, not TBT.
