In my old town I had 7 dreamies but one would always keep on moving and then I would get another one of my dreamies and this cycle went on for forever and I wanted to stab fcking Tom in the neck because he was in and out of my town 3 times.

the one time I lost Tangy due to TT out Rasher I restarted my town and vowed to learn about the mechanics of how Villagers move in and out and what I can do to stop them from leaving unintentionally

I have went on like 2 big hiatuses already and thankfully none of my dreamies left and I BOOTED DORA AND JOEY OUT!!!

My technique is-- oh wait nvm I have no dreamies anymore

Ok, I do have Clyde, but he's been in my town for 3 years, and asked to move only once xD

as long as you remember the last day you played before a hiatus, you can TT back to that day then go day by day until you find a person wants to move (stop them of course) then you can TT freely back to the current day right after that!

I use it every time I go on hiatus and it worked this past summer
