7 days without someone moving in

Hey

I waiting exactly 7 days now for someone to move randomly in. It never took that long! I never waited more than 3 days before someone randomly moved in. Did they change the time before someone random can move in and I missed that in the patchnotes? Or am I just unlucky this time around?

From what I understand on any given day there’s like a 9-13% chance of a random villager moving in and it keeps on increasing my 9-13% so you’ve just been very unlucky. If you don’t get a villager tomorrow or the day after I’d be incredibly puzzled.

I haven't experienced this, but maybe you can visit a nook miles island and ask someone to move in? Just an idea if you don't want to wait

seven days only ? I have been playing for more than three months now and i still have 7 of my starters and i already have their picture hahaha, i am already at the point were i dont even want my favorites to stay just want new villagers hahah. It crazy man

yeah, there was a time where I got a lot of voided villagers from my friends. They truely move in really fast. For completly new villagers my longest waiting time were 4 days, thats why I‘m hella confused haha

It's completely random when a new villager moves in. When I was time traveling, it took up to three weeks before a new villager moved into one of my empty plots. Just keep waiting and one will move in eventually.

I wish I had so much luck with a plot being free for more than just a day. Whenever someone moved out and I didn't find a replacement at that time, the plot was taken immediately by some random villager the next day. This sucks a lot, because I have not often the luck to find a favorite of mine that fast.

In your case, I guess you just have bad luck here, perhaps try finding a villager via island hopping or maybe adopt one from another player if the plot is not taking the next day.

Well I guess it’s considered good luck if you don’t want a random to move in! Lol but bad luck in my case since I have no more NMT.

I do think it’s kind of odd though, I have been time traveling a few days at a time and there is still an available plot. Snake even just asked me to move out. I said no, but still odd that he would want to move out before the 10th villager moved in...

I was also experiencing this, but I was lucky enough to run into a money rock island with my dreamie Static on it 2 tickets in, lol.

If you still don't have a villager, you could go to one nook mile island and take the first villager you find. That way it would still be random.

Do you visit people online? You should be able to pick up someone's voided villager if you have ever visited them.

its day 11, still no new villager:/

I even dont visit people online, cause I dont like to get voided villagers. I thought about taking the first on a iland too, but than I just wanted too see what happens

i have the odd feeling that they changed the 10th villager to a New Leaf style, where only a voided or invited villager can move in. I hope thats not the case. In new Leaf I had only 9 villagers because of that, but in New Horizon it would be even worse, cause the unused house takes up space
