5 year in game anniversary?

Ok so I decided to use my mayor for once (I regret making a guy mayor, I'm a girl but I used to play guy characters for something different but these days I prefer playing girl characters since I can make them more like me, but in wild world I played a guy so I remade him in new leaf only to regret it not long later lol) and apparently as of today it's been 5 years since I started my game? They had a little celebration and a gift (it's a sapling clock) I never knew is existed in the game though! Has anyone else hit their 5 year anniversary yet? Anyone else not even know this was a thing? Lol

Yeah! Tbh I didn't even know the clock was an actual thing until I got it. It's super cute though I love it.

Yeah,it was included as part of the Welcome Amiibo update.As far as I know,it happens every year on the day you started your town.I'll be having my five year anniversary on June 29th.

Wow,really?It'll be the five year anniversary of my first New Leaf town,Catlips.I actually have two of my original villagers still living there.

Haha yeah! I have only one original villager u.u (It's Derwin btw ^-^) I do have villagers that I have had since about 2014 though, and i cherish them just as much

My old timers are Gaston and Bree but Beau,Pippy and Tangy have been there almost as long(I have Derwin in my duck town).I kinda wish the anniversary gift for the five year mark was something different...maybe something a bit more exclusive.

Also It's really neat thinking it's been 5 years that I've been playing new leaf (even longer that I've been playing AC in general as its been a huge part of my life since childhood, honestly the series means so freaking much to me lol) it's kinda sad also though since the popularity has died down so much and a lot less people still play, unfortunately pocket camp has lost a lot of popularity as mobile games die pretty quick (I still play it though) and there's a lot of pay to play content which pushes people away ;n; I hope they make a new console animal crossing game, I remember wanting a 3DS SPECIFICALLY because I heard there was gonna be a new animal crossing, I was SO excited for new leaf, all the new and nice graphics, cool features, and all the other neat stuff which was brought to animal crossing with the new leaf game! I hope I get a job soon so I can buy a new system if they DO end up making any more animal crossing games, I'm assuming it's most likely come out for switch which I don't have (also just need one for other games lol, I could also use the new 3ds especially the galaxy one, my 3ds is the first version and isn't in as great of shale these days lol)

ALSO something even better just happened relating the anniversary, I went to play my other character (my main one who I WISH was the mayor, and Isabelle sent a letter, of course with the same gift, but the latter says "June 10th will mark 5 years of our mayor presiding over this town! To honor her time in office, every villager will get a special celebratory gift!" To honor HER time, my mayor is a GUY I'm dying XD is it just me or is Isabelle trying to say something here? Like you know, that the one who does all the work and is the TRUE mayor is Isabelle?XDDD
