5 Star rating and can you lose it?

I reached the 5 star rating. Has anyone tested the fact that if you start removing furniture and trees if you will lose the 5 star rating? It's not a big deal because if I lost it, I can always gain it back. But one big thing that went towards me finally get it was all the tress I planted. But with the two difference forest going on, that is room I could be using for something else. So just wondering if I would lose the 5 star rating if I cut down quite a bit of trees.

You can lose the rating yes, you have to maintain it
