OMG, that's the worst! Maybe take a short break and grab something to eat or drink then come back to it? I find that being full and hydrated goes a long way to restoring one's spirits.

It can be really hard to find a map you like - sometimes if you've got too specific an idea of what you want, it can be really hard. Maybe it's worth deciding if some of the things on your wishlist don't matter as much as others? Anyway, good luck with your search!

Maybe try doing something else while looking, like watching tv ! It will feel much faster

I literally never find the map I want. I just pick one of the first four he gives me haha. But in similar situations like using the diving trick, I always watch TV or just use my computer and browse tbt or tumblr or something haha. Hacking might be an option to get the perfect map too..?

Yeah when I restarted my town a year ago I literally spent the whole day just trying to find the perfect map which was really frustrating but I wanted this town to be my final with no more restarting.
You'd be surprised how you can turn a bad map into a good one
But don't give up! You should update us when you've found one!

This has been me on and off for the past week trying for my new town and today I finally got a layout and native fruit I'm happy with. Villagers aren't the best but that can be easily fixed.
