The Bell Tree Fair 2014 Patch
1. Is the smash bros link amiibo valid for Wolf Link? Or is it just the other one?
2. I also have the Villager, Sonic, and Yoshi amiibo for smash bros. Do they do anything?
3. I am considering buying the Ganondorf and Splatoon amiibo. Are they worth it? Or is a card pack better?
4. Are amiibo cards series 1-4 compatibale with New Leaf?

1. Yes, as far as I know the Smash Link amiibo summons Wolf Link.
2. Villager works and has exclusive RV items that can't be obtained anywhere else unless you trade for them. Sonic and Yoshi don't work.
3. This is really up to you, but keep in mind that amiibo figures are much more expensive than cards, and you will get more cards per pack obviously. However, if you really want the Splatoon or Ganon villagers in your town, then you will need their amiibos as they cannot be adopted from other towns.
4. Yes, they are! They can be used to move in villagers if you have their card, and it allows you to kick out a villager to replace if you have 10 already.

Hope this helps!

1. Yes. Regular Link (not Toon Link), Zelda, or the Wolf Link amiibos will give W.Link the villager.
2. Villager does. You can get an RV with Wisp dressing up as the regular Villager, along with a bunch of exclusive to that amiibo items. There's no actual villager you can get in town. Sonic and Yoshi don't do anything.
3. If you want the Ganon villager or the Splatoon villagers, you need the amiibo figures. There's no cards for that. There's items exclusive to those amiibo figures too.
4. Yes. You can scan the regular villager cards to get them to move in. The special characters (Isabelle, Digby, etc) don't move in or have RVs - you can just get their picture that way. None of the amiibo series 1-4 cards have RVs. You can only get RVs from the welcome amiibo cards, the Sanrio cards, and the amiibo figures that are compatible with the game.

Thanks both of you for the information! It really helps :)
