Smash Bros 4 player online battles

Hey,
Whenever I do a free for all or a team match of 2v2, it always lags extremely bad. I was just wondering if this is just me or its happening to anyone else? Although I dont come last most times, its still really annoying. It takes about 6 minutes to do a 2 minute match.

Yeah I thought so because I was wondering why I wasnt getting bashed and that they were moving at the same speed as me.

That's some harsh lag then, whoever's lagging needs to have their connection checked out, however it could be more of a result of having 4 consoles connected to eachother at the same time + not everyone having a stable connection, especially on the 3DS version.

Or are you using the 3DS version?

Yeah its really bad :/ This is on the wii u version.

Must just be connection issues then, I've had little to no issues with 4 players online (all different consoles) most times, only once or twice I've had terrible lag.
