3DS or 3DS XL

I have both. Its 3ds xl hands down. There is no pixel stretching as far as I can tell. The larger screen makes for a better gaming experience. And the battery life is so much better on the xl. I wish i splurged when i bought a second one, i sort of regret the 3ds. The battery life is way shorter, noticeably so.

While I love the bigger screen of the XL, I actually find it much more uncomfortable to hold than the regular 3DS. The 3DS fits my hands so much better and isn't as heavy. Despite that though, the bigger screen is definitely worth it in my opinion.

The XL version; I love the bigger screen. However, I find it quite heavy to play for longer periods of time and I don't take it with me while commuting because of the extra weight.

I would say the 3DS XL, I've only owned mine for the little while but I love it. The larger screens are pretty nice for the gaming experience and fits better in my hands.

The only downside to the powerpak is that it's heavier. However, battery life should be much more than 3DS XL with powerpak.

I never owned a 3DS XL or held one ()but I would have to agree that XL is better in the long run.

I own a 3DS XL and the image on the screen doesn't look stretched or pixelated at all. I don't see any reason to pick a regular 3DS over the 3DS XL, bigger screen is better.

XL for eyesight. It made a long Pave Day easier.
I picked up mine for less than the 3DS. Noticed that stores are giving gift cards when you buy a system.

I have an XL and I think the image quality is perfectly fine, the screen doesn't appear stretched or wrongly sized at all to me. It's also easier on the eyes... at least it is for me!

We have an XL and a 3DS. We started with the 3DS initially and later upgraded to an XL. First of all, I have to say the transition was really strange. Nowadays, when I hold the regular one, I feel like it's going to break because it's so tiny. D:
The quality on the XL is entirely fine. I ultimately prefer it because you can see the details much easier and it's just more comfortable.

Not to mention, occasionally there are XL sales. We got one XL for the price of a regular DS.

The whole stretched pixel issue gets mentioned because the 3DS XL has the same resolution as the 3DS, meaning the image is just stretched to fit the screen. However, it's really only noticeable if you purposely try to pay attention to it.

I have played games on the 2DS, 3DS, and the XL and without a doubt the XL gets my vote for the best. The larger image is just so much better. IMO, it makes you feel more immersed into the game and it is far more comformable with long play sessions.

I love my 3DS XL much more than my 3DS! I've never noticed any distortion or blurriness from pixels being stretched, so don't let that stop you from choosing the XL! Much easier on the eyes and feels better to hold in your hands!

I used to think the same way about the pixels being stretched, but once I got the XL, I didn't even notice or think about it. The stretching is not noticeable at all! And a bigger screen makes a huge difference, believe or not.

I haven't looked back at all since getting a XL.
