3DS Game Recommendations?

I know that this is a topic about Nintendo 3DS games, but I felt that while on the topic of Harvest Moon, I will say my favourite Harvest Moon game would have to be Harvest Moon: Friend's of Mineral Town for Game Boy Advance.

That's my favourite one as well. I'm quite fond of Grand Bazaar as well but it's not as good as Friend's of Mineral Town. It needs to go on Virtual Console.

I'm getting Pokemon X and AC:NL this year.


I'm curious, what didn't you like about it? Is it just the series in general?

All the battles were the same pretty much. It was minor strategy with some strange tactics, but it was pretty much move here to hit here and so on.

The text pace made playing at ANY time inconvenient since I had to wait ages to progress through the story line. Also, they talked ENTIRELY too often to not have a speed function for the text display.

Any time there is a "randomly generated" feature, it gets old quick. It shows practically 0 depth and little creativity, and it just gets so boring for me. They could have put better efforts into this game IMO.

As far as the entire series: This is the first I've played of it. I went into it blind because I honestly enjoy pokemon and it's been getting rave reviews, but I guess it just isn't for me. I'll just have to wait for X and Y to get my fix.

There is a lot of variety now on the 3DS, so i say if you want a diverse collection, go for a fighter like Super Street fighter IV 3D, or DoA: Dimensions, a nice platformer like 3D land or New Super Mario Bros. 2, a adventure game like Cave Story, Strategy like Fire Emblem: Awakening, and an RPG like Tales of the Abyss. also if you like animals go for Nintendogs + cats...they are so cute! I have this nice white beagle puppy named Prince and....oh um..yeah, im too manly for that! I also recommend you do a little research on the R4 3DS cart. I can pretty much download any DS game i want onto it and play. Just think about having every DS cart you have all on one, with some DS games you never had or wanted to get, FOR FREE! My 3DS is pretty much tricked out, nice games, an R4 3DS cart, a cool NSMB skin, and screen protectors! ......Im a total nerd.

Kid Icarus Uprising is easily my favourite 3DS game, but I guess it's not for everyone. Besides that, I really enjoyed 3D Land, Luigi's Mansion 2 and even Sticker Star, though I know it gets a lot of flack.

Super Mario 3D Land is the first game I played on my 3DS, and I really liked it. It's a minor thing, but I really liked the music.
Most people I know are really into the Fire Emblem for the 3DS, so maybe you'll like that too. I'm hoping to get Luigi's Mansion 2 sometime but I lack funds >B(

This game was so engrossing I couldn't put my 3ds down.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is pretty good. Although, I don't think it's out in Europe yet. I also could see Star Fox 64 3D suiting your tastes.

Hmm...well I got Two Towns and A New Beginning, but I got pretty bored of both. Really tedious in the beginning, but most HM games are. I'm going to keep going on A New Beginning though, since a lot of my friends really like it.
I also really want to get Etrian Odyssey soon...and New Leaf of course.
hm...tbh I'm pretty lost myself on what to get! I download a lot of demos to figure out what I'd like.
