$34.99 in the e-Shop

AC:NL has been priced in the e-Shop at $34.99 in NA, same price as all the retailers are selling it for.

Im not sure why its $34.99 and not $39 but Pokemon Mystery Dungeon was also $34. so not all main games are as expensive. Maybe Nintendo is wanting to get this game out to as many people as they can? Since its a casual play style.

I think Animal Crossing games were always a little cheaper.
I got City Folk for 20 new, due to me not bothering with the Wii speak bundle.

GameStop probably screwed up and put the standard price for a 3DS game (39.99) before Nintendo put it at 34.99.

Its either because Nintendo wants to market AC to more people, or just because we have been waiting so long.

Nintendo actually reads a lot on forums like these and they are a very personal company. I'm glad they are such a good company :3

wow, $34.99 is almost half of the amount New Leaf is being sold for in Australia.
$68 is just way too expensive, you guys are lucky!
