I'll enter! Don't have too many personal stories to share on a public forum... But I can share when I first figured out my gender.
I was following this ROTG role-player and he was posting about his gender struggles and what being trans meant for him. As I read it, I started to cry because it echoed every single thing I had ever felt or thought about... So yeah 7 or so years later now.
I'm trans, and have come out to friends and a family member, but haven't begun transition yet. I had intended to get things started this year, but, uh...yeah. Fingers crossed that this pandemic can be defeated responsibly and definitively as soon as is possible.
Congratulations on this joyous anniversary, and best wishes.
Ok y'all I rolled for a winner! Thanks for all your entries. I'm glad to see so many other LGBTQ+ people around here! I rolled #47 which is @MiyukkiYou have about 48 hours to contact me. Thanks again everyone!!
I've been coming out gradually and that was thanks to me falling in love with a woman.. Our friendship really radicalized me in the ways I viewed gender and my own identity... Like these rigid systems thatkeep us from self-actualizing...
Anyways, I've fully embraced that I'm genderfluid and very pansexual. I've been much, much happier since this revelation, too.... Like I'm almost at peace with myself? Because I've entered these LGBTQ+ spaces, so many wonderful people became close friends of mine, too... And... I've also met some really cute girls, which I never thought would get me this excited LOL
