What games are you most excited to be released in 2020?

(Aside from New Horizon's...obvs) I've pre ordered both The Last of Us part 2 and also the Final Fantasy 7 remake!

Some other titles I'm excited for are;

Dying Light 2

Resident Evil 3

Seems to be the only releases I'm excited for a zombie related, ha!

If they could bring out a suave zoo tycoon (that was not as bad as the ps version they brought out) to warm my ice cold heart I'd take it.

Drop your most anticipated releases below :D

So far I'm only interested in Breath of the Wild 2 (whenever that comes out) and the Mystery Dungeon remaster... the latter is pretty expensive though for me considering I've already played that game. Other than that I'll just keep an eye out on physical releases of indie games.

I adored mystery dungeon! And I will likely end up going out of my way to get it at some point!

Animal Crossing is really the only one for me, but I have a few friends who are really looking forward to the 2020 Xenoblade Chronicles remake/remaster. I would be getting it too if it weren’t for the fact that I already beat the game on the 3DS, and I want to play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 now to see if I enjoy it or not. :)

Only New Horizons so far. With the lack of time I have to play games anymore, I gotta be really picky and choosy with which ones I buy.

I'm hyped for the Spongebob BFBB remake! That was one of my favorite games to play as a kid and I actually still play the OG periodically. From what I've seen so far it looks really awesome, and they're planning on adding in old cut content so I'm hyped for that!

I'm of course also excited for New Horizons:p

Looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077. It's a kind of game style there isn't much of outside of maybe Bethesda games (and I'm not much a fan of their broken piles of crap) and it's a setting I love that strangely doesn't pop up all that much in gaming despite it being the perfect medium for it. I have my reservations both with it being a new IP and that I didn't really care much for anything CD:PR has put out before, but I'm hoping for the best given it's "one of those" games that I've kinda always wanted something like to exist.

Animal Crossing New Horizons. Just more Animal Crossing.

Vampire the Masquerade 2, assuming that actually releases this year. Loved the first one (well, the modded 'finished' one) and it falls into that same type of gameplay I (hope and assume) Cyberpunk is geared towards. Again, not much opportunity to play as a vampire in gaming, so I'm hoping this has a chance to do well. Honestly shocked this is even happening after the LONG time since the first game and development hell it went through.

Oddworld Soulstorm I guess...Maybe...I dunno. It's part of the Oddworld series which is the only reason I'm interested right now. I've seen absolutely nothing of it, so I can't say I'm doing much else other than waiting for some footage or something.

Other than that, there's nothing that really springs to mind that I'm massivelyhyped for this year. Probably going to spend this year catching up on pre-2020 games tbh.

New Horizons, Spongebob BFBB remake, the rumored Paper Mario that I really hope is real, the eventual new Crash Bandicoot game that's gonna come out, a lot of unannounced stuff is what i'm excited for pretty much LOL

Wait they're releasing a spongebob game again....oh my poor bank balance :(

I hear you on that! I've recently moved and I currently do not work whilst I look for a job. AND ALL THIS SPARE TIME IS WASTED BECAUSE I AM JUST WAITING FOR NEW HORIZONS MOSTLY

Animal Crossing New Horizons. Because... Animal Crossing.

Mortal Kombat Kollection Online. I never played the original trilogy before.

Darksiders Genesis. I have the first 2 Darksiders games on Switch and PC ad I love them. Still waiting for THQ Nordic to confirm Darksiders 3 on Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles Remastered.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.

Trials of Mana.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered.

The big one I'm looking forward to is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I'm also looking forward to Streets of Rage 4, assuming it doesn't get delayed or something, Shantae and the Seven Sirens, and the Expansion Pass DLC for Pok?mon Sword and Pok?mon Shield. Don't know of anything else releasing this year that interests me at the moment.

I saw a trailer for an awesome looking switch game.

Maneater.

Love sharks. :)

Rune Factory 4 special edition comes out on February 28th. 5 is supposed to be coming out later this year too. I'm really excited, I have the regular version of 4 and it's super addicting.

Streets of Rage 4?
Awesome!

My favorite SEGA game of all time is Streets of Rage 2.

the only game i'm genuinely excited for currently is botw 2, god i'm excited out of my mind. some others i'm interested in though are the new pokemon mystery dungeon game, and also tlou 2.

Cyberpunk 2077 is kinda grim, don't you think? But I looking forward to it too :D

Aside from New Horizons, there's the Yakuza remaster collection (preordered the physical version with all the games) and Yakuza: Like a Dragon, might also get the Mystery Dungeon remake.

Also the Sword/Shield expansions and second Smash challenger pack

My list so far:

Rune Factory 4: Special
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Cyberpunk 2077
Halo: Infinite
Ghost of Tsushima
Skull and Bones
Persona 5 Royal
Final Fantasy VII Remake
My Hero's One Justice 2

im so keen for the friends of mineral town remake for the switch, its been released in japan so im hoping sometime this year the release the english version, ive never played the original FOMT, but my friend who loves all things harvest moon says its really good and since im getting into harvest moon this is one i deffo need to buy. also following this pen you can now be gay, i can finally date both men and women instead of having to research at the start of the game and pick if i like the men or women more (being bi is tough guys).

I'm dying to play Way Into the Woods. I believe it was delayed last year, but it should come out soon!
