To the people who have 2 towns or more, is it hard keeping up with 2 towns? is it fun? I'm thinking of making a second town only because there are many villagers I really want but have no room for! I really wish we could have more villagers than 10. seriously how do people decide on which villagers to permanently keep? there's so many I want :c and I'm having a real hard time figuring out which ones to have in my town, currently I have Bunnie, Biskit, Cookie, Chrissy, Francine, Mitzi, Bonbon, Mira, & Bones and I love them all so much but I also really want Felicity, Chief, Genji, Melba, Mint, Monique, Frita, Lucky, Goldie, Tia, Marcie, Peaches, Tangy, & Flora, there's even more lol! And now I feel as if I should have more diversity as I think I have so many peppy villagers & no smug, jock, or cranky villager! but I don't want to get rid of them! urg sorry such a rant! does anybody else have this problem?

I originally got 2 towns cause I had a long list of villagers I wanted, Coco barely didn't make the list but she showed up in my campsite... didn't ask her to move in, regretted it, then she showed up again so I kinda had to haha.

For me it's not too bad keeping up with both, I have about an hour commute to work most days so I play one on the way then one on the way back, though I think it would be more difficult if you had one town almost complete and have just started another, I think that'd be kind of annoying.

As for villagers, in one town I try to have a mix but in my other I only have female villagers (as I tend to find them cuter), and for choosing... I'd say pick the ones you really want, then for the rest just see who you can get your hands on first, that's what I did at least and I don't regret it :)

Yes! I'll just make a list of ones I really want. I suppose I'll have to make a second town though since I have a long list of villagers I really want too! I agree it will be pretty annoying since I'm almost done with my first town & really like it :(! I think I'll just put my most favorites in that one and the second town for villagers that I just like ^-^ thank you for your advice I'm having such a difficult time choosing! oh and I like Coco too :)

I have two towns and I just picked my favorites. I like a lot of villagers so I just made a list of all the ones I like and then narrowed it down and split them up. I originally only had one town, so I picked villagers for it then put the ones that didn't quite make it into my main town on my second town.

Two towns would be insane. How do you have so much love to spread around? lol I can understand a cycling town along with a main town but I could never manage two towns constantly. I'd fall in love too much with one and I'd stop playing the other or I'd want to do the same ideas on both (pwps and paths etc).

I have three towns (only one 3DS) and it's pretty easy to manage, actually. TorgoBay was the first and I've put a lot of TLC into it, Vale is for cycling and just screwing around, and Bascom is my attempt at actually planning a layout and not just going willy-nilly all over the place.

When I decide what direction I want to take my newest town in, I will likely choose villagers that fit that theme. Or go with all sheep because I love them... haven't made up my mind yet XD
In Vale I don't really care and villagers come and go, and in TorgoBay I kind of "accidently" fell in love with my villagers ... only Shep and Hamphrey were dreamies.

I don't have two towns, though I'd probably like to if I had the time and patience, and if I thought it was worth getting a second copy of the game.

If I had an extra town, I'd probably play it differently. I'd have the villagers that I wish I could have but don't have room for, or I'd make it themed. Another idea I've had is that I'd have a second town to let villagers come and go, since I wouldn't risk losing the villagers I like best and I think that would be really fun.

I'd just play it less than my current town, though, which is why I'd make it a different sort of game too. I do my best to check my current town regularly, whereas if I had a second town, I wouldn't want to do it since that would be too time-consuming for me.

I have two towns. At first I kinda regretted it. Why? Because I would have to do the same things I did or still do in my main down like digging up the fossils and such. Now that I have my two towns balanced I don't have a problem maintaing both. I do I love my second town just a little bit more than my main one now.

I got a second copy (actually a friend gave me his copy) just to have 10 more different villagers that I always wanted. Though it was hard because there were so many villagers I wanted I wrote them all down and narrowed it down by the villagers I really wanted the most and made sure of their personality as well.

You do have a lot of peppy villagers. but that really isn't a problem. I mean some people get a villager of each personality just to get the PWPs and afterwards they get rid of them and get other villagers. But if you want to try villagers with different personalities then go ahead.

I would say go ahead and buy yourself another copy if you really want to. Or buy a used copy they're cheaper. Good luck on your decision (:

I'm definitely thinking of doing this ^-^

:c yes this is the problem I think I will have if I get a second town. lol I'm such an indecisive person. Maybe for my 2nd town I'll just do a certain theme, though I might like that one more or something and I don't want that

I feel it would be very time consuming too :c I might try it though ^-^

It seems like a lot of work! mostly in the beginning I bet its very hard :c and I'm also afraid of loving a town more than the other lol. Plus switching back and forth to towns sounds annoying but I shall try 'cause I just love too many villagers lol! Thank you ^-^

I have two towns. I've been playing since the release so it didn't matter what month I was on for the 2nd town.
Main is in real time and 2nd town is close to finishing March.
To make it easier I have the clock for my 2nd town set behind. Play it first for an hour and than move on to my main town.
It also the town that is open to visitors. It's an easy going town where I leave items out for cataloging and for free.
Bonus to maybe getting premium perfect fruit or good turnip prices. My friend said that if visitors sell their fruit on a regular day or at premium you'll get premium perfect fruit more often. Think she was right. I have premium perfect fruit on sale a lot in my 2nd town.

I don't have 2 towns but I have like 20 dreamies so that'd edge out nicely :3

If I had two town, I would cycle the living heck of it and make some BTB. Lol. I had my current town for almost a year now. I just let the villagers decide to come and go. I like surprises. I don't TT so it makes the game more fun when I get online and do the dailies hehe. xD

I really like the BTB I make from my cycling town. XD
But I like a lot of villagers, so when I'm happy with my first town I might start a second town too.

my problem is I think a lot of the villagers look good lol I'm currently making a list and its so long. I like playing in real time too its much nicer that way ^-^ except when I tt to move out villagers. A cycling town sounds quite fun to do as well & more tbt is always needed! Same BlooBelle! I just need to figure out who is going be in my first town then I might make a town 2 :) does anyone know of any particular themes for a 2nd town?
