16 Villager Cycle?

Is there a way to tell how many villagers you have left to go? I'm trying to get Kyle back since I haven't finished the cycle... My mother owns him as of now.. Anyway, is there a way to tell how much longer you have to go?

Other than keeping count in your head, I usually determine if it's been 16 or not by if I see them on Main Street or not. Felicity was one of the first to leave, and after a while, I just never saw her on main street either...

So that could be a possibility.

Not in game. If they don't show up on main street anymore, it's safe to assume you're almost done or completely done. But you can count it yourself.

I stopped counting thinking I could never get Kyle- my mother got him. I can't find him and now am too worried he'll show up soon....

They're there until the cycle is either complete or almost complete.

If they don't show up at one point, don't assume that you're almost done. They might show up the next day.

A trick I heard is that if you sit under your plaza tree, credits will roll and it will show you a list of all the villagers you've ever had in your town I assume in order. That'll somewhat help determine how many you have to go.

I heard (And saw) that it only shows your current villagers.
