16 villager cycle success! *updated with screencap*

Actually, that's only true if its a different villager. Like, if you lost Beau and someone held him for you till you completed the cycle, he would remember you. But if you complete the cycle and invite a different Beau from, lets say, the campsite, its a different Beau so the friendship would be deleted, and he'd act like he never knew you.

That's what I was assuming:)

He won't remember anything about living in your town previously because after you completed the cycle your game "deleted" him from your memory.

Not really, people do it quite frequently, they just don't post about it.
I didn't mean anything bad by that of course, I just meant people don't do that often as far as I know, and I assumed people would have posted about it if they had:)

Congrats.
I just finished mine as well.

I lost Chrissy and Olivia to an accident, then Pierce and Annalise in my haste.
Now everyone is back(Annalise even went exactly where I wanted her to without even any plot resetting), and have a few I never knew I wanted. So very happy. Been on a building spree ever since, putting all my PWPs back where they belong, and rearranging where they now look so much better. :)

Congrats! I think it`s totally worth doing the 16-villager cycle when a dreamie accidently moved out.

Okay, so 6 or so months ago, beau moved away from my town and into my boyfriend's, and finally, after much cycling, I got the same beau to move back into my town last night! And he remembered me! He said something like, "I'm so excited to be living in your town again!" I'll post the screencap later. Just wanted to remind you guys it is possible. And so worth it!!

UPDATED WITH SCREENIE:)

Like I said, they will mention being excited to live in your town again, but they won't remember anything else or act like they've ever been there before, regardless if it is the same villager.
