I am curious as to how you can know if the villager is out of the 16 villager void?
I lost Pekoe a while ago and have moved out many villagers since. She was on my main street for a while but it's been a while since I had seen here there.
I went to a town to try adopting her tonight and it worked (yay I have her again!)
Can I assume that when villagers leave main street they're out of the void?
i don't think so. i'm pretty sure they stop showing up on main street after a certain amount of villagers leave after them, but not necessarily 16. as far as i know the only way to know if you've completed the 16 villager cycle is either A) keep count of everyone that moves out after them or B) successfully adopt them from someone else.

Yeah I figured. I'm in waaaay too deep to even think about the order everyone left. I've gone through a lot because I like meeting new villagers and I have a select few that stay with me for the long haul. I took a chance on Pekoe though so now I know I can get others back like Flora if I wanted at least.
