I don't use color contacts just because they are fairly expensive. With the right makeup, no one cares.
Even if you had spoken to us we wouldn't have seen it. We only read the first post to find out what the thread was about.
I only actually saw your post here because I clicked on someone's profile who has you added as a friend and your last few posts show up in their activity stream. Wanted to find out why my name was mentioned in one of them.
We actually dislike mini modding - especially as most of the people who do it don't actually bother to report the post, so then we don't end up seeing whatever needs to be locked/moved etc. It's also more likely to give us more work rather than actually helping us out -- e.g. leading to people creating duplicate threads; or people derailing a thread that normally wouldn't be locked by arguing about whether or not it should be, etc -- hence why we ask people to not do it. Other times the people trying to be helpful actually accidentally give misinformation and then we feel like jerks when we have to go in and correct them. We know people's intentions are good but it's not as helpful as people seem to believe.
